Patio dining throughout the day in Carmichael

Whether you jog, bike, stroll or drive, the Carmichael café offers a spot to relax on a busy corner. Friendly service greets you, from that early morning mocha through the cocktail hour. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, with table service beginning at 5pm, the delicious menu changes seasonally. The features that make Carmichael Bella Bru so unique include a full bar, dog-friendly patio dining, a children's menu and a complete array of coffee and baked goods, which are also available for takeout.

Most mornings the café is bustling with bicyclists grabbing cups of coffee on their way to the nearby American River Bike Trail or having breakfast after their rides. Later in the morning a different set of regulars arrive, many of them moms with young children.

Dinner served late

Don't worry if you're not a morning person. The dinner menu is eclectic, featuring specialty pizzas, pastas and unique takes on familiar dishes such as meatloaf, steaks and quesadillas. Dinner is served until 9pm and the Luna Lounge, located adjacent to the restaurant, continues to pour drinks and serve a select menu until midnight.
